FULL YEAR TEAMS

Since 2008 our All-star teams have ranked very highly, competing on local and national levels. We offer competitive teams for athletes starting at age 5 and up. Our staff consists of National and World Champions in the sport of All-Star Cheerleading. We have teams for all levels from beginner to advance. Teams practice twice a week and also have a tumbling class.

 

The season starts with fundamentals and skill-building. The athletes then learn a 2 minute and 30-second routine, that they practice and compete for the rest of the season. Athletes will compete this routine at 5-7 competitions held locally and one National event, which is tentatively held in Las Vegas at the end of the season.

MID YEAR TEAMS

Our Mid Year Allstar teams will run November - March. These teams will compete at 2-3 local Competitions. We offer teams for athletes age 5 and up, with levels from beginner through advanced. The season starts with fundamentals and skill-building. The athletes then learn a 2 minute and 30-second routine, that they practice and compete for the rest of the season. We recommend that if you are doing the Mid Year team you take a tumbling class or one of our Cheer Prep classes until the teams start. 6 WEEK TEAMS

Our 6 Week program is great for those who play other sports or are looking to try cheerleading as a sport. The team practices twice a week and will learn a routine that will be performed at the end of the session for family and friends.  The athletes will learn stunting, tumbling, jumps, and dance, all placed into a routine style format. 

TUMBLING CLASSES

At Hollywood Sports Center we pride ourselves on teaching proper technique and progression.  Athletes from cheer, dance, karate, and many other sport disciplines take tumbling classes at Hollywood Sports Center. All classes are by level to ensure athletes are working on the proper skills and fundamentals to learn and grow. Our staff is very knowledgeable about tumbling and very detailed oriented. CHEER 101

Our Cheer 101 class teaches the basics and techniques of cheerleading. In this, one hour class athletes will learn stunting, tumbling, jumps, motions, and dance.  Let our staff of National and World Champion coaches teach your athlete the fundamentals of cheerleading to help jump-start their cheer career.

MINI PREP

This class teaches the basics of stunting, tumbling, jumps, dance, motions, and everything needed to join a competitive cheerleading team. This class helps build confidence in young athletes to become part of a team environment.

FLIGHT SCHOOL

Flight school helps flyers work on balance, flexibility, coordination, and body positions to provide more confidence in their flying. This one hour class will go through drills using flying equipment to help the athletes. You don't have to be a flyer to attend, everyone is welcome.
